IGNOU Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital and Health Management (PGDHHM) Admission, Syllabus, Fee

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION TO PGDHHM

  • Medical/Dental graduates from a Medical/Dental Institute of India or other countries recognised by Medical Council of India (MCI) or Dental Council.
  • Graduates in Indian System of Medicine (ISM) and Homeopathy, recognized by the respective Council with two years experience after Registration.
  • Graduates in nursing and pharmacy with at least five years hospital experience.
  • Preference will be given to applicants working in a hospital/health care institution and holding administrative responsibilities.
  • Min age as on 1st Jan. of the Academic Year - No bar

Admission notification is generally released in May/June and the last date for submission of filled-in application forms will be September 30 for January session and March 31 for July session. However students are requested to check with the official admission notification for the exact dates related to admissions.

Selection Procedure

Those satisfying the eligibility requirements will be selected on the basis of the criteria laid down by the School of Health Sciences, IGNOU. The criteria for selection will be developed taking into account hospital experience, years of service and educational qualification. Selection will be made on Regional Centre/PSC basis. In each Programme Study Centre (PSC) a maximum of 40 students will be admitted. At present PSCs for the programme are at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Lucknow, Patna, Pune and Srinagar.

Student Handbook & Prospectus would be available from the Registrar (SR&E), IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi- 110 068 and at all Regional Centres, Study Centres, and IGNOUARMY, NAVY, AIR FORCE AND ASSAM RIFLES Recognised Regional Centres. Student Handbook and Prospectus is also available on university’s website www.ignou.ac.in. The candidates downloading the Form from website are required to send a Demand Draft of Rs. 550/- (Rupees five hundred fifty only) drawn in favour of IGNOU payable at New Delhi . Advertisements inviting applications for MP are released in leading national and local dailies in April and October.
