Biological/ Medical resesarch has transformed into a multidisciplinary pursuit involving Biology, Computer/ Information Science, Statistics and Mathematics. (i) POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN BIOINFORMATICS (18 MONTHS)

WHO CAN APPLY: Graduates/ Postgraduates form Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Medicine, Agriculture, Veterinary and Life Science.

The Course provides completence in computational biology, /bioinformatics by training studetns in the areas of cell/ molecular biology, computer science, statistics, chemistry and drug design. Related topics like IPR, entereprenurship, Clinical trials are taught.

(ii) POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN BIOTECHNIQUES 8/14 MONTHS (Certificate / Diploma with internship)

WHO CAN APPLY: M.Sc. in any Life science discipline, B.Tech (Biotech) and MBBS students.

The Course creates dependable, all round laboratory professionals thorugh extensive 1-1 training in laboratory techniques designed around recombinant DNA Technology.

(iii) POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN CHEMINFORMATICS 19 MONTHS (3 Semesters with Internship)

WHO CAN APPLY: Graduates/ Postgraduates from in any branch of Chemistry, Pharmacy, BE/B.TECH in Chemical Engineering.

(iv) ADVANCED DIPLOMA IN ORGANIC SYNTHESIS 09 MONTHS (An IBAB - BIOCON Initiative)

WHO CAN APPLY: Postgraduate in Organic Chemistry.

The course trins professionals for exponentialy growing and highly competitive drug and pharmaceutical market. The course provides in depth class room training followed and pharmaceutical market. The course provides in depth class room training followed by lab sessions. The course provides candidates to get hands on experience to work on sophisticated analytical instruments such as UV, IR, NMR, HPLC, GC, LC-MS etc. Biocon group and other companies will absorb all the trainees.
